thinking of the rucksack revolution

a poem about living in the moment

We live on the edge
chasing a constantly fleeting moment,
waiting for a the next second to come
while we leave the present in the past.
we can never be full,
even with our bellies bloated and
gas coming out both ends,
We’re always searching
for that fleeting moment that comes and
goes like a light breeze on a sunny afternoon.
